In a recent post shared by popular multiple award-winning musician Wyclef Jean on social media site Twitter, he recounted his March 21 ordeal from him being pulled-over, handcuffed and detained by Los Angeles Police officers for what he had no knowledge about, as he was mistaken for a notorious L.A armed robber; in his tweet, the Haitian music megastar expressed his total shock and displeasure.
"I'm in LA right now, coming from the studio with T-Baby, ya'll see the police have handcuffs on me, they just took off my Haitian bandanna. That's what's going on right now with Wyclef in LA right now. The L.A.P.D have me in cuffs for absolutely nothing. L.A.P.D another case of mistaken identity. Black man with red bandanna robbed a gas station as I was in the studio working but I am in handcuffs? He explained; Wyclef was mistaken for a notorious L.A armed robber on 21, March 2017, he was arrested and released after a few hours of detention.
