100% SOLAR POWERED AIRCRAFT COMPLETES WORLD CIRCUMNAVIGATION!

Solar Impulse II a Swiss experimental full solar powered aircraft project which  voyage has come to an end today as it completes 16 months of circumnavigation round the world across 4 continents and over 42,000km in mileage to return to base at Abu Dhabi.

This latest technology of using clean and pure energy from the sun to power this project is a frantic effort to pull the world from reliance on fossil fuel where clean, renewable and sustainable energy can be found all around us naturally.

The airplane was piloted by two of the best hands in the world, Bertrand Piccard and Andre Borschberg.
