ALICIA KEYS MTV-VMA APPEARANCE GET FANS VERY ANGRY!

Alicia keys showed up at this year's MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) with no makeup as a solidarity stance for gender equality, a fight she is known to be at the fore-front of.
Her No-Make-Up appearance at the grand award ceremony left a rather bad taste on the buds as fans didn't welcome her actions while others took to social media to lay it point blank to the American singer to step off her high horse and think rationally, others just told her to dab some mascara, some others pointed to the negative effects feminism would leave on her;
“Alicia Keys and her fake ass feminist 'don’t wear makeup and love yourself' campaign needs to go” wrote one irked commenter.

Alicia in her words expressed that putting on make-up should be an option not a necessity “Every time I left the house, I would be worried if I didn’t put on makeup.
What if someone wanted a picture?? What if they POSTED it??? These were the insecure, superficial, but honest thoughts I was thinking. And all of it, one way or another, was based too much on what other people thought of me.
I don’t want to cover up anymore. Not my face, not my mind, not my soul, not my thoughts, not my dreams, not my struggles, not my emotional growth. Nothing.” she added.
