KODAK TO RELEASE SMARTPHONE WITH PROFESSIONAL CAMERAS FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS!
Camera manufacturing giant KODAK, has announced its forthcoming Kodak Ektra; named after its 1941 progenitor, the new smartphone with two state-of-the-art cameras fitted into it, is specifically tailored for photographers. It will come installed with a 21 megapixel back camera and a 13 megapixel front camera, this clearly outruns Apple iPhone 7 and 7 plus 12 Megapixel cameras; it is expected to be first released into the market in the UK at £449, in December.
The smartphone will run on Google's Android platform and it will come with a shutter button, replica of a normal camera; also, it will come with its own default hi-tech photo and video editing software.
Here is what Jeff Clarke, Kodak's chief executive had to say about the latest development, "Kodak has a rich history in imaging technology and the launch of the Kodak smartphone today demonstrates our ongoing commitment to bringing the latest advances in photography to consumers. The original Kodak Ektra Camera was launched in 1941 and in its latest reincarnation, opens up a world of creative opportunities to all who care about photography."
