BURNA BOY CAUGHT IN INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY THEFT WEB!

Popular Nigerian afropop music artiste Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy has been roped into using for himself an animation design which he has craftily refused to pay for.
Some couple of months back, the 25 year old who hails from Ahoada in Rivers State, asked graphic artists from Insecta Studio to design animated photo sets for him. Insecta after completing the task, forwarded the designs to the artiste's management team along with its costing.
At thisn point neither Burna Boy nor his management crew would pick calls nor reply emails from the Insecta Studio team. Thinking the artwork was discarded and of no use, only for the image to reworked same concept and all, and used as Burna Boy's stage backdrop for his performance at Essence Fest which took place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, South Africa between the 8th and 13th of November 2016 and on his social media platforms. On discovering this act of gross disrespect for professional ethics, the infuriated Insecta studio now tried all in its power to contact Burna Boy's management crew, who out-rightly told the creative designs house that they would not offer any form of cash payment for the artwork. A lawsuit is seen in sight as a viable solution to resolving the issue on ground amicably.
