A Chinese man from Changchun met florists in Jilin Province with a bag of 10,000 YUAN ($1454) on February 13 for them to specially craft a bunch of roses from the currency. The bouquet was meant for none other than his girlfriend, the currency-rose-bunch which came as a surprise of a life-time to his girlfriend was delivered by the florists on February 14th to mark a good start to the new year-of-the-rooster and as a Valentine's day gift. Tonnes of criticism have arisen massively on Chinese social media platform WEIBO against the exorbitant and lavishly extravagant gift.
