Africa has in the last few decades seen a massive turnaround in that one industry that captures the mind of one and all, old and young and even good and bad; this multi-billion dollar industry is none other than entertainment. As South Africa is the country with the most visited city in Africa (Johannesburg), it has converted its huge tourism potentials into fueling its thriving entertainment industry. GHANA:
Ghana comes third on the rung of leading entertainment industry movers and shakers in Africa. Ghallywood which is Ghana's big-time film industry, competes very closely with Nigeria's Nollywood film industry. As entertainment is a business that basically hovers around 'happy feelings and expressions' the symbiosis between Nollywood and Ghallywood is quite remarkable as a huge amount of cultural exchange goes on yearly between these two entertainment bigwigs. The music scene in Ghana is not left-out as Ghanaian music artistes take to what is called Afro-pop music which has razed the entertainment Ghana music industry to fiery heights.
