Born as Dwayne Michael Carter Jnr., on 27th September 1982, U.S rapper Lil Wayne has come a long way in an industry sees only the strong survive. He rose to fame as a member of the defunct rap group 'Hot Boys', the group broke up and everyone went their separate ways with Lil Wayne going solo. Wayne released his first solo album 'Tha Carter' which made it to No. 5 spot on the U.S album charts in 2004.
