#HISTORYLANE: US RAPPER 'THE GAME' RELEASED AFTER BEING CHARGED WITH IMPERSONATING COP!

September 22, 2007 saw US rapper Jayceon Taylor aka The Game, walk out of a Manhattan Criminal court a free man after being conditionally discharged over a cop impersonation charge.

The rapper had told a cab driver he was an undercover cop which frightened and made the cab driver run the red traffic lights without applying caution.

The event that led up all of this was, the rapper, in a bid to live the simple life and run away from all of the surrounding paparazzi decided to ride a cab to somewhere in town only for his cab to be followed.

When the cab driver noticed they were being followed for a considerable distance, demanded to know who the rapper really was (as he disclosed his identity); 'The Game' instead of telling him the truth, instead told the cab driver he was an undercover cop which instead frightened the cab and made him behave way out of context.
