PMAN (Akwa Ibom State Chapter) Hosts Mother of all New Year Shows at Tilapia Island Resort
The beginning of each year is like a window into what the rest of its days will turn out.
The Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN) under its able National President Hon. Keston Okoro via PMAN Akwa Ibom State Chapter, which is under the able leadership of Administrator Inem Matthew, took the bull by the horn to set the machinery in place for ushering in musicians in Akwa Ibom State into the New Year 2018 in grand-style.
Collaborating with both ComfortFM 95.1, Uyo and Tilapia Island Resort, the musicians' union in Akwa Ibom State took the ancient city of Abak by a storm.
The last day of 2017, which was December 31st, saw the PMAN AKS Team comprising of its
Administrator, Comrade Inem Matthew, the godfather of the union in state, King George Emah, Public Relations Personnel of the union in the state, Fadabasi Effiong (Abasi Mi Ayaya), the union's New Media Personnel in the state, Comrade Anthony Edmond John and Astute musician and member of the union in the state, Comrade Etibass Bassey,
headed off to ComfortFM 95.1 to sensitize the general public on the workings of the musician's union and what to expect at the grand PMAN New Year Get Together/Music Extravaganza Nite, in a thrilling interview session of popular OAP Flavour.
The next day, which was the first day of the year 2018 and much anticipated PMAN grand show tagged New Year Get Together/Music Extravaganza at Tilapia Island Resort, saw popular TV show presenter and P.R Personnel, a much-respected brand-name nationwide, Asteroid Bassey (Asterizzle) - Music Alive on AKBC 45, man the MIC for the day and being one which was up to the task, the show kicked off on an electrified note.
The opening speech by PMAN AKS Administrator, Inem Matthew, set the Nite rolling with a thrilling opening performance by Abasi Mi Ayaiyah crooner, son of the soil (Abak L.G.A) and two-time brand ambassador for two banks (FCMB and Diamond), Fadabasi. The PMAN Music Extravaganza Nite was a jam-packed music and comedy session that had the likes of King George Emah (Lambano), The musical twins Solototo and Elewo Africa, Akilo (Uwemedimo), Etibass Bassey (Music + Comedy), MC Gentility (Comedy), Vidim Africa, Special performance by the Father of PMAN in Akwa Ibom State, Ette Ntia, Reggae maestro Skanking Master, MC Lecturer (Comedy), Prophet Trinity Bassey and others.
