KING SUNNY ADE'S GUITAR BOUGHT FOR A WHOOPING N52.1M!

Popular Nigerian music legend King Sunny Ade on Sunday 11th December had his glittering classic Fender electric guitar auctioned for a whooping N52.1m by Dr. Jogun Onabanjo CEO Onabanjo and Onabanjo & Co., Leading certified Auctioneer. The auction took place at the Temple Balmoral Marquee, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos; in attendance were the crème de la crème of the society in the person's of 'Africa's richest man Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Mr. Femi Otedola among others. Bidding opened at N9m and closed at an outstanding N52.1m in less than five minutes. The guitar which is one of KSA's most priced possessions was designed by Victor Ehikamenor a popular Nigerian artist; the identity of the exotic guitar's buyer is yet to be disclosed to the public at the time of filing this report.
